Welcome to AgroEnergien! Every day we hear about energy crises such as rising petrol prices, energy scarcity, environmental pollution, and the harmful effects of CO2 emissions. In fact, there is not an energy problem; the problem is the lack of sustainable energy management. The earth can provide us with enough energy to exist comfortably. By harnessing the powers of wind, water, biomass, and the sun, we can produce energy without damaging the environment. Unfortunately, many people still believe it is easier to produce energy using the “traditional energy sources” that are destroying our environment. It is our interest and responsibility to provide a healthy world to future generations. We can make the change, it is merely a decision! The aim of AgroEnergien is to solve the energy problems of our clients, and to provide them with a way to produce renewable energy in a sustainable manner. Biomass, in energetic terms, is all organic material both live or (recently) dead, used for energy production. Renewable energy Biomass includes matter such as: forest residues, animal residues, agricultural and livestock wastes (manure), fruit and vegetable wastes, organic industrial residues, energy crops, biodegradable material, etc. Depending of the characteristics of the biomass (dry matter percentage, organic matter, heating value, sugar content, oil content, etc.), it may be used in a number of different processes in order to obtain heat from combustion, biofuels (biodiesel and bioehtanol), biogas, etc. Biomass has the advantage of offering renewable energy that can be stored, and used when needed.
